We want to thank everyone who made the kick-off to our Summer Newkirk Aveue Open Streets a great success! On Sunday, July 11 FDC partnered with Roy Nathanson and 5 PM Porch Concerts to bring music to the streets at our Grand Opening of Open Streets! Our community enjoyed free, original music from local students and profressional musicians in the Multigenerational Searching for The Light Big Band on a car-free Newkirk Avenue! We could not make this happen without help from community partners and volunteers! Stay tuned for 6 more weeks of Open Streets & programming to come! Next Up! This Sunday, July 25- come out for the Grand Opening and pop-up for CedarStar Catering on Newkirk Avenue! Enjoy delicious, kosher Middle-Eastern cuisine, live music & more this Sunday from 12 PM!
