The Glenwood Community Center, supervised by Krystle Kercado, offers a unique environment not often seen in New York City. With over 10 years of experience in youth and development, Krystle’s passion and creativity are reflected in all the programs at the center. Whether she is creating new teen groups for boys and girls or steering the August backpack giveaway, Krystle’s leadership is invaluable. There are many programs available for adults as well, including athletics, kick-boxing classes, computer and game rooms, and more. Glenwood also runs programs for families in need, including a Food Pantry, turkey giveaways, and backpack giveaways. During warmer weather, the Glenwood Community Center offers outdoor activities including Block Parties, Basketball League, and the famous Back-to-School Back Pack Giveaway. View details of our many programs below.
